CONSULTATION
The process starts with a free 30-minute video consultation to discuss your website needs with you. I will ask you a number of questions, such as which website platform you currently use and what functions you need out of a new site. I will require admin access to your current site in order to come up with a quote of how many hours of work your website will take. Most websites take between 20-30 hours. Don't have a website for your union? No problem – I build sites from scratch too.
ESTIMATE
I will provide a quote for my web design services, and we will set an overall budget for the cost of a new theme and plug-ins. I will give you a heads up well in advance of reaching the budget so we can check-in about what work there is left to get done on your site.
REVIEW
I will create a draft of your website – accessible only to you. You will be able to interact with content, review links, and make sure the website is working the way you envisioned. At this stage, we will work together to revise the site until you are satisfied. All throughout the editing process, your current site remains intact.
LAUNCH
Once you are satisfied with how your site looks, we will make it live. I will be on hand to deal with any issues that may arise. I will also help train you with how to edit content on your new site – putting you back in control of updating your website after the redesign.
